I enjoy all aspects of CrossFit - especially gymnastics and olympic lifting.
My favorite lifts include snatches and pull ups.
CrossFit Level 1
Growing up, I wasn’t involved in traditional sports but stayed athletic through action sports such as snowboarding, skateboarding, surfing, and paintball. As I grew older, I started working out to stay healthy so I could continue enjoying action sports. Eventually, I found CrossFit, and that took my fitness to another level. I always enjoyed the methodology behind CrossFit and learning the complex movements like Olympic lifting and gymnastics. After leaning more into the community and helping spread the knowledge I had gained, I realized I eventually want to be a CrossFit Level 1 coach one day.
My turning point for starting CrossFit was when traditional workouts weren’t helping me excel in daily life. I worked a physically demanding job that required a high level of fitness to perform well. My activities outside of the gym also required me to be physically fit to stay safe. I had been working out in a traditional gym for years, but wasn’t seeing the desired results outside of the gym. That’s when I found CrossFit. CrossFit helped me prepare for daily life and activities I enjoyed while making me better at the same time. CrossFit challenged me in ways that kept me pushing for better results in and outside the gym. I haven’t looked back since.
My motivation for coaching is to help others achieve and exceed their goals in a safe environment. I have personally seen the results and benefits that CrossFit provides, and it is like no other workout program. I have a passion for the community that CrossFit provides and work hard to ensure everyone feels welcome. Every day coming into the gym feels like I’m going to work out with friends, and that is the ultimate motivation.
